The WeSET Education team introduced the public to the power of renewable energy on Saturday (14/9) at a celebration of music, arts and nature in Oxfordshire.
WeSET was a billed attraction at the Great Barn Fest at Great Coxwell Barn, near Faringdon, with a display of information and activities. Lead education officer Emma Arnold and Westmill Wind/Solar Co-operative’s Sarah Flood explained the operation of wind turbines and solar panels to a busy influx of children and families, with the use of demo turbines and solar toys.
Interactive sessions included a popular pinwheel making and decorating activity for the younger visitors.
