Westmill is an inspiring educational resource for both teachers and students. A rich and varied open air classroom and a practical location for understanding sustainability.
One way to make sense of the power and possibilities of sustainable energy is to join us on site at Westmill. We offer tailor-made visits for schools, colleges and universities, and these are available for groups at most stages of the educational spectrum: from Key Stages 1-5, plus many stages of further education.
But we offer much more than just a site visit.
We also provide a large choice of varied learning materials for a range of ages. As teachers work harder than ever to adapt to new media whilst still delivering exciting, engaging lessons, and parents and guardians are finding ways of working whilst also supporting their children’s learning; our Education team has prepared a series of free, downloadable educational resources and activity sheets on topics related to energy production, climate change and the Wind Farm and the Solar Park.
