Become a WeSET trustee.

Help enthuse a low carbon vision in Oxfordshire

Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust was set up by the pioneering wind energy cooperative; Westmill. We are a beacon for locally owned and democratically managed green energy.

We use arts and education to promote our vision and we support specific local low carbon projects in the area.

We are looking for three trustees to join our volunteer board.

You will have a commitment to our aims, and will combine independent judgement with a clear vision of what we can achieve. You will think creatively and meet the statutory requirements of a charity trustee.

The trustees meet monthly and meetings are in the evening (usually near Watchfield) as well as playing an active role in our work. The position is not paid, but we meet reasonable expenses. Applications from people living within 25 miles of the windfarm are particularly welcomed.

We work though a fantastic network of local volunteers who act as passionate unpaid advocates and together we have hosted almost 10,000 visitors to the site who have been informed and inspired by our message.
